Advantages of
3D printing shoe lasts
in-house
No waste, no dust
3D printing only uses material for making the shoe last, nothing more.
As a result you have practically no waste and because a 3D printer works
silently and clean, you also have no dust.
No stock, digital process
You can print shoe lasts as-needed, so you don’t need to keep a large stock of lasts. Also, you only need to produce the last after the test shoe was fitted.
Any modifications are done digitally before printing.
Low costs
Since there is no waste, your use of material is very economical.
Easy
3D printers are no complex machines; they are easy to set-up and use.
Combined with our easy-to-use software, 3D printing shoe lasts is a breeze.

Questions about 3D printing of shoe lasts?
As 3D printing afficionados, we can answer most of your 3D printing questions
Yes! You can process the last like a normal wooden last, by gluing elements (with a special glue) on top or by grinding the last.
Yes. Either you print a hollow last and fill it with PU foam, or you print a solid last. Both options can be pressurized.
A last can be printed as a hollow shell and filled with PU foam; this takes 2-3 hours of printing time. If you print a solid last (when you don't want to use PU foam), this takes around 20 hours (so 40 hours for a pair).
Instead of starting from scratch and developing our own proprietary insole printer, we select the most suitable 3D printers from the best, professional manufacturers and optimize them with our kit for the production of lasts. And since 3D printers improve every year, you are sure to have the most up-to-date machine.
